Obituary of Gertrude Ann Morley

Gertrude A. Morley known as Trudy at the age 82 passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born to Howard and Dora Fulmer Plummer in Chester, PA. Trudy resided at Naamans Creek Country Manor in Garnet Valley for the past 6.5 years; previously residing in Trainer and Linwood, PA. Trudy was a registered nurse for over 30 + years, in the City of Philadelphia and Chester, PA hospitals and private doctor's office. She became a Registered Nurse through the Methodist Hospital Nursing School in Philadelphia, PA. Trudy was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Thornton, PA where she participated in Bible study groups and services. Also was an active member of Linwood United Methodist Church in Linwood, PA participated in the choir, various committees, Couple Club, JOY Circle, and Methodist Youth Fellowship as a Chaperone, Chester Heights Campmeeting volunteered as a nurse and at Pocono Plateau Methodist Camp: a nurse and camp counselor. Trudy volunteered with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Delaware County facilitating Good News Clubs for children grades K-4. Trudy enjoyed reading her Bible and fiction/nonfiction novels, doing crossword newspaper puzzles, picture puzzles and creating memory scrapbooks. Trudy enjoyed listening to Elvis and Tom Jones. In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert R. Morley who passed in 2016; her two brothers, Howard Kiel Plummer and Alan Plummer. She is survived by her three children, Debbie (Brian) Butchart, Daniel (Patty) Morley and Brian (Tarisa) Morley; her nine grandchildren; her four great grandchildren and her two sisters, Marilyn Hull and Cheri Plummer. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 9,2022 at 10AM-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. The family suggests memorial donations to be made to honor Trudy at Child Evangelism Fellowship 153 N. Eagle Rd.
