Obituary of Dorothy Smalec

Dorothy "Dottie" Smalec, age 88 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away on October 7, 2022 peacefully at home. Born to Stanley and Anna Stasavage Rogalski, in Dickson City, PA, residing in Garnet Valley, PA since 1978, previously of Chester, PA. Dottie was a secretary at Boeing for over 10 years before retiring. She attended Sleepers Business School in Chester, PA and was a member of St. John Fisher Church. Dottie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed shopping and crocheting, but mostly, spending time with her family and loved ones. As well as her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul P. Smalec and daughter, Annmarie Smalec, she is survived by her three children; Paul S. (Karen) Smalec, Ronald S. Smalec, and Elaine M. Stanislow, two sisters; Lorriane Horne and Jean Francis, five grandchildren; Nicole, Paul III, Kerri, Anne Marie, and Lee Anne, and two great grandchildren; Scarlett and Quinn.
