Obituary of Patrice P. Bonavita

Patrice Pelletier Bonavita, age 64 of Claymont, DE passed away suddenly on November 6, 2022 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. She was born to Francois Joseph Pelletier and Beatrice St. Onge in Dearborn, Ml. Her family moved to Florida and she grew up in Cape Coral and Ft. Myers. After graduating from Ft. Myers High School in 1975, she attended Thomas Edison Community College. Pat married the love of her life in 1978 and moved north to Delaware, where she lived and raised her family in Claymont over the last 40 years. She was active in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts leadership and worked at the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council. She was a bookkeeper by training, but worked for WAWA as a shift manager, and later as a manager for Frank's Nursery and Crafts. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Pat loved baking with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Patrice is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by Michael Bonavita, her loving husband of 44 years, children; Angelo Bonavita, Michelle (Harry) DeBenedictis, and Joseph (Latasha) Bonavita, sisters; Marie Pollack, Fay Whitmore, and Carmel Newcomb, and grandchildren; Tyler, Jael, Raquel, and Gideon.
