Obituary of Anna R. Kersey

Anna R. Kersey, age 74 of Marcus Hook, PA passed away on December 29, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born to Alexander & Anna Frances Rigby McClure, Anna was a lifelong resident of Marcus Hook, PA. Anna married the love of her life, Bob Kersey in 1967. Together they had 2 sons and raised their family in Marcus Hook, PA. Anna became employed with the Delaware County Public Defender's Office where she was an Investigator working for many years until her retirement. Anna was involved in her community and active with her church, the Cokesbury United Methodist Church where she was instrumental in the Angel Food Pantry. She also belonged to the Marcus Hook Senior Citizen's where she served as Treasurer and also Secretary. Anna belonged to the Marcus Hook Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and in her spare time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 5 siblings, Doris Boyer, Bud McClure, Edward McClure, George McClure & Barbara Davis. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Kersey Sr., 2 sons, Robert L. Kersey Jr. and wife Heather and Brian K, Kersey, 4 siblings, Betsy (Ron) Myers, Kate Michaelides, Michael (Ellie) McClure and Alan (Denise) Davis and 2 granddaughters, Micaela & Ava Kersey. A visitation will be held on January 4, 2023, Wednesday, 12PM - 1:30PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 1:30PM.
