Obituary of Francis A. Conner Jr.

Francis "Frank" A. Conner, Jr., age 82, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2023, at Riddle Hospital. Frank was born to Francis A. Sr. and Margaret Corson Conner in Chester, PA, on Valentine’s Day of 1940. He had been a resident of Fox Hill Farms since its inception in 2000, previously residing in Northern Virginia and Broomall, PA. He graduated from St. James High School in 1957 and received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Pennsylvania Military College, later Widener College. A cost accountant, Frank was employed by Boeing for many years and retired in 1998. He was devoted to his faith and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he attended church on a regular basis. Frank enjoyed get-togethers with members of the St. James Alumni Association. He was an enthusiastic Penn State football fan who loved watching college football. Frank was also a regular at the Main Line Health Fitness & Wellness Center in Concordville. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Conner. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen M. Conner; two daughters, Kathleen McCollum and her husband, Eugene, and Kristine Conner and husband Daniel McNally; and four grandchildren: William and Christopher McCollum and Grace and Caroline McNally. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, from 9:15-10:15 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment, St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery.
