Obituary of Theresa Marie Friess

Theresa M. "Terry" Friess, age 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at AccentCare Hospice at Christiana, Newark, DE. She was born and raised in Chester, PA., a daughter of Francis E. and Jane Kalinwoski Bienkowski; she has resided in Wilmington, DE for the past 39 years, previously residing in Glen Mills, PA. Terry was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She was a chef and cake decorator for over 30 years at two different country clubs. Terry loved cooking, baking, gardening, completing jigsaw puzzles, and her cat, and her dog, Star. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth M. "Betty" Bryant who passed away in 2017. Theresa is survived by her four children; Lisa (William) Colby, Denise (Conrad) Friess, Karl E. Friess, and Karen Friess, nine grandchildren; Tabatha, Stephanie, Camerin, Savannah, Makenna, Jacob, Paige, Sophie and Madison, and four great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Terry's honor to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
