Although I'm unable to be there with you I wanted to share some memories of Pop-pop that are always with me. I think of him when I hear or see wheel of fortune on TV.
I see him putting around in the yard or garage when i see a blue pair of Dickies, that almost always had blue pocket shirt tucked in with a belt, dark socks and loafers with a kerchief close by. I think of him anytime some one mentions stinky cheese.
I think of Mom-mom and Pop-pop when ever I have clams or crab. How when Mom-mom would tell him she wanted crab for dinner, he'd say "Ok, we got it." and then tell me well I know what we are doing today. We'd go down to the dock and set a few traps, knowing full well that 3 wasn't enough for dinner, and we'd then drive around and get ice cream or go fishing. Later we would come back check the few traps we put out and our measly catch( sometimes), and he'd say that's ok. Then we would find one of the crab trucks and buy a bucket of crab to take back to Mom-mom. =) I can hear him whacking them on the corner of the trailer.
I loved how we would go sit at the beach and wait for low tide, grab an inter-tube with a bag or a bucket and walk out as far as we could and dig our toes in to rake in the clams.
I remember how he showed me that Killer wasn't what people thought he was, the only thing about him that would hurt you was his breath and slobber, unless you were the mail man or a cat...
There are many others I have but don't we all have some good times to share?
Pop-pop you are and will be missed but never forgotten! Love you!

My heartfelt condolences to the Boylan family. I did not know Albert personally but I understand how hard a time like this can be and I am sorry for your loss. May our Heavenly Father, who is the God of all comfort, give you the strength and comfort that you need (2 Corinthians 1:3). Our Heavenly Father understands your pain because he too has experienced the death of his beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Just as God resurrected his Son, he yearns to resurrect our loved ones as well (Job 14:14,15). I hope these words give you the comfort and peace you need during this difficult time.
