Obituary of Jean C. Jones

Jean C. Jones, age 93 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on February 28, 2023 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born and raised in Collingdale, PA, Jean resided in the Fox Hill Farm community for the past 27 years, previously residing in Collingdale where she raised her family. Jean graduated from Collingdale High School, Class of 1947. She was a librarian for 40 years at the Collingdale High School and the Rachel Kohl Community Library in Glen Mills, retiring in 2004. She was a very active member of Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church where she was involved with Operation Christmas Child and the Ladies Bible Study. She enjoyed vacations with her family, shopping, working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and playing UNO. In addition to her parents, Harry and Caroline Foehl Hibshman, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, James Crozier Jr., who passed in 1988 and her 2nd husband, James C. Jones who passed in 2016 and, 2 son in laws, Frank Ferrara, who passed in 2021, and Jim Wolintos, who passed in 2016, 4 siblings; Samuel Hibshman, Mildred Sanso, Elizabeth Miller, and Alice Bateman. She is survived by 3 children; Linda Ferrara, Diane "Dee" Wolintos, and Jim (Janice) Crozier, 3 step-children; William (Joyce) Jones, Carl (Jeanne) Jones, and Karen (Patrick) Bredbenner, 5 grandchildren; Justin Wolintos, Amber (Anthony) Wolintos, Nicole (Zach) Schuster, Jacqueline (Matt) Idelson, and Raymond and 3 great-grandchildren; Jackson Wolintos, Weston and Palmer Idelson. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, 11-12pm at Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church, 256 Bethel Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by a memorial service at 12pm. Interment will be held privately at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to the above-named church.
