To Connee, Jeff, Michael and family- J'Anna and I were so sorry to hear of Marty's passing. Our days together at Western Savings Bank seem like a hundred years ago, but the wonderful memories of Marty and all the guys are strong and will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Certainly Marty was synonymous with smiles, friendliness, fun, kidding and a good amount of real work along the way. Marty was a guy you could always count on to help out wherever and whenever he was needed. We got together fairly often while working for Western, and less often after we had gone our separate ways. What was so special about our Western friends was how we could get together and tell the same stupid stories over and over and and would laugh just as hard as when we heard the stories for the first time. More than anything, Marty was always a good guy and a good friend and he'll be remembered that way for sure. We express our sincerest condolences to you all and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Rather than toasting our good friend, a pie in the face might be more appropriate, lovingly of course.
