Obituary of Thomas P. Koziol

Thomas P. Koziol, age 70, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 28, 2023, following a long battle with brain cancer. 

Tom was a longtime resident of Philadelphia, PA before moving to Chadds Ford, PA after retirement. He was a devoted Philadelphia Fire firefighter for much of his life and retired as a Captain in 2017. Tom loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved spending time at his beach house in Maryland.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father (Albin Koziol). and is survived by his loving wife, Josephine A. Koziol (Corsetti), his mother Geraldine Koziol, sister Barbara Sevick (Client), his stepchildren, Richard Umile (Lillian Mills), Theresa (Thomas) Myers, and Marie Umile, grandchildren, Andy Giordano, Heather Myers, William Myers, Sydney Myers, Tyler Umile, Alex Umile and great grandson, Liam Giordano.
