Obituary of Stephen D. Skrovanek

Stephen D. Skrovanek of Boothwyn, PA passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at home. He was born in Bethlehem, PA to the late Stephen J. and Elizabeth P. (Kushma) Skrovanek. He was the husband of the late Colleen (Kane) Skrovanek, who predeceased him in 2010. He was a graduate of Penn State University where he received BS and MS degrees and Lehigh University where he received his MBA. He was an auditor at Artisans' Bank in Wilmington, DE before retiring in 2020. He also previously worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the American Bankers Association in Washington, DC. Steve was an avid Penn State football fan, enjoyed annual golf outings and liked watching sports. He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Boothwyn, PA. Survivors include sister Alice (Laurence) Fishler and brother Daniel (Patty), and he is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Steve was a kind soul who always looked out for others and cherished his many friendships. A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 10, 2023 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
