Obituary of Thomas W. Sitley

Thomas W. Sitley Sr, known as "Sit"; age 75 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on May 3, 2023 at Hospital of the University Pennsylvania surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born to the late William and Evelyn (née Tarver) Sitley in Philadelphia, PA, and he graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1966. He has resided for the past 40 years in Glen Mills, PA. He was the owner and operator of Appliance Parts & Service of Aston. Sit will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He loved traveling, especially cruises, playing golf, classic cars, fishing, camping, and was a member of the Brandywine Lion's Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Sit is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Claire F. Rodgers Sitley, 2 children, Thomas Sitley Jr. and Kevin (Mary) Sitley, 5 grandchildren, Madelyn, Kiera, Kevin Jr., Kole, and Thomas William III, sister, Patricia (Steve) Viesti and a nephew, Patrick Viesti. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 10:30-11:30AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (OLD CHURCH), 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30AM.
