Beverly, you were a true joy any time I saw you at a family gathering. My first memory was of you at 3 years old , sucking your thumb and holding onto my long hair as you twirled it in your hands to fall asleep. I’m sorry for what you suffered at the end of your life, and know you are joyful and free now watching over your husband and boys. Prayers for those hurting and left behind ♥️

Beverly was just a wonderful person we lost touch after high school but never forgot about her. She and all of her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Beverly has been a fixture in my life ever since I started dating Brian when he lived with Nick and Bev. She was the total package: beautiful, smart and kind. We grew up through our twenties and thirties together and I witnessed her engagement, marriage to Nick, their many dogs (Jack, Eddie and Molly!) and then the arrival of her two beautiful boys, Andrew and Jacob. Beverly was passionate about many things in life, but above all else she loved being a Mom. Nurturing was in her soul: my own daughters have found memories of Beverly patching them up with a band-aid when they got hurt. They call her "their healer." :)
In the last few years, although we physically moved further apart, we continued to get together at The Creamery or Longwood Gardens, which was the halfway point between Lincoln University and West Chester. We loved watching our boys and girls play together, romping around Longwood, or chasing Annabel at the Creamery. The happiest I ever saw Beverly was when she was in the presence of her children: they completed her life. She was proud to be their mom. She lit up when she talked about them playing basketball. They are kind and sweet boys. Undoubtedly, this is partly due to her mothering and the abundance of love that she has for them.
Beverly, I know you will continue to watch over us and I pray for strength for your family and friends. We love you so much and will not forget you. You will live forever in our hearts and minds.
