I will always remember my Uncle Ken for his smile. He was special because he listened carefully to whatever the kids had to say, and responded like we were real people whom he valued. When you’re a child, you don’t usually get this much close attention from grown ups. As an adult, he called me every year for my birthday and Christmas. I will miss him. My hopes for my cousins—hold on to the memories, and know how loved you were.
