Obituary of John Henry Flohr III
John "Jack" Henry Flohr, III, age 70, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on June 3rd, 2023 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jack grew up in Lansdowne, PA before becoming a longtime resident of Glen Mills. He graduated from Bonner High School, Class of 1971 and later, went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Neumann University, Class of 1990. He worked at the Franklin Mint for 25 years, holding multiple roles before becoming their Director of Marketing before its closing. Jack later worked as a marketing consultant, then joined ASI as Marketing Director for 7 years. After that, Jack was a bus driver for Garnet Valley School District, acting as union shop representative and responsible for the union employees and negotiating contracts. He was also part of the transportation team at Maris Grove. Jack loved his job as a bus driver, birdwatching, gardening, and being at home with his family. He is preceded in death by his father, John H. Flohr, Jr., mother, Claire F. Leonard Wright, and step-father, Tom Wright. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara A. Bankert, and his daughter, Sara J. (Michael) dePolo, and many loving family members. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
