My heart is really hurting right now. Like others who have posted previously, Connie was like a mother to me. With her tough-loving ways she scared the crap out of me most days but she was just as compassionate and caring. She , along with several others, opened her heart to me when my father was dying and also when I became pregnant. I will always remember how she would swing open the curtain to the dressing room and scream, "EBONY, YOU'RE LATE!!!"as she would look at me through her eyeglasses. During a time when that line of work was shamed by society, more so than it is today, I can honestly say that I absolutely loved my time there. It was my second home away from home and it broke my heart to leave. Connie, thank you for being such a wonderful part of my life. You are so very loved and missed by many. May you Rest In Peace ❤️❤️❤️ I would love to send warm hugs and kisses to those I had the pleasure of meeting and working with and bonding during that time as well. Too many names to mention but you know who you are.

I have known Miss Connie since I was 17 years old I came to risque scared & nervous to start dancing & she made me feel like family right away she asked me about my parents & I told her I didn't have any & she gave me a hudge hug & from that day on I was her Diamond her Italian Princess. I was a handful to deal with I was so young & was always fighting & getting in trouble but Connie made sure I NEVER got fired i was suspended alot lol but was ALWAYS allowed back to risque. Alot of time passed I never thought I was gonna dance again but life doesn't always work out as planned. I made one phone call to Miss Connie & she then made one phone call to the club to let them know to allow me to work again & let them know I was her baby. My heart truly hurts I feel so sad for her family & for all of us who loved Connie. I remember being a young girl going to miss Connie's moms funeral & now I'm going to hers . I feel so sad but I know without a doubt Miss Connie is in heaven, she had a beautiful soul . I will love you forever miss Connie xoxo your Diamond Princess.

I went to eat near the club one night and Connie was there. I sat next to her she bought me a drink.i order she finished and was leaving and recommended the dessert.She left for home. I finished eating and pay my bill and was told that it was paid. that was Connie, Thank you will miss seeing you.

Connie was a very loving and giving person.So very kind always ready to help,just like her mother, my Aunt Betty.When my granddaughter passed,Connie could not do enough.She had so much food delivered to my son's Springfield home,I will never forget it.I loved going over to her house,there was always a good time,and you were always welcome with open arms.I will miss you my dear niece,I thought of you often.I know you and your mom are up there with the angels.You are truly one.Love Aunt Ann Boccella.

Miss Connie heaven has gained a beautiful woman. I selfishly want you here because Connie was a second mother to me for more then half my life. Connie helped in molding me into the woman I am today. Connie was nothing less than a mother to me, as I was taken under her wing as her very own. She was caring, outspoken, compassionate, and the definition of sunshine. Cousin Connie was a wonderful Person. Caring, loving, respectful, and beautiful. She had a heart of gold. Not a bad bone in her body just like her Mother, Aunt Betty. When I was around 8 years old Connie might have saved my life when she pulled a piece of steak out of my mouth that I was chocking on. She was an Angel on earth.
