Obituary of Augustine W. Krause

Augustine W. "Gus" Krause, age 85, of Wilmington, DE passed away on July 23, 2023 at his home. Born to Augustine and Mary Karpin Krause in Chester, PA, Gus has resided in Wilmington since 2006, previously residing in Linwood, PA. He worked as a commercial truck driver for American Rendering, Inc for many years and later worked in rope manufacturing. Gus was an accomplished darts player and competed in a league. Gus also enjoyed fishing, particularly large-mouth bass, and hunting. He loved to exercise at the gym and play softball in a league. In addition to his parents, Gus is preceded in death by siblings, Robert and Dolores Karpin, and is survived by his loving wife, Theresa M. Krause, children, KerriAnn, Glen (Mary Jo), Dale (Deb), and Jeff, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Saturday, July 29, from 9:30-11:00AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment to remain private.
