Obituary of Lynn A. Chambers

Lynn A. Chambers, age 70 of Wilmington, DE passed away on August 18, 2023 at ExcelCare at the Pines. Born to John and Kathryn Chambers in Ashbury, VA, he resided in Wilmington, DE for over 20 years, previously residing in Tinicum Township. He graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1971 and served his country in the US Air Force. He worked as the Vice President at a distribution center until retiring in 2018. Lynn was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, and enjoyed fishing. Lynn loved vacationing in Wildwood Crest with his family and in-laws for many summers. He loved his dogs, Coco and the late Champy. In addition to his parents, Lynn is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda M. Chambers who passed in 2017, his son, Gregory Chambers, who passed last month, and a sister, Jean Chambers. He is survived by siblings; John (Peg) Chambers, Richard (Theresa) Chambers, and Elayne (Bruce) Bohl and many nieces and nephews. Lynn was loved dearly by his sisters-in-law, Carol and Jayne, and brother-in-law, David. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, from 10 to 11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd.
