Obituary of Constance Griffin

Constance "Connie" Griffin, age 86, of New Castle, DE passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023 at Coral Spring Nursing and Rehab. Born to Robert C. and Mildred E. Lovelace Narvell, Connie has resided in the New Castle area for over 55 years, previously residing in Chester, PA. She worked at Strawbridges Department Store for over 20 years, eventually retiring from there. Connie was a former member of Pleasantville Baptist for many years and enjoyed cooking and gardening. In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Jamus A. Griffin, who passed in 2014, as well as 3 siblings; Betsy Kent, Midge Swartz, and Robert Narvell. She is survived by 6 children; Jim (Kay) Griffin, Larona (William) Walls, Michael (Shirley) Griffin Sr., Thomas (Janet) Griffin, Rick Griffin Sr., and Tami (Andy) Shahadi, 2 siblings; Timothy and Scott Narvell, 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd from 7:00-9:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. An additional visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 23, from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at Pagano Funeral Home. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
