This is Molly. Molly had either been hit by a car and suffered a horrible hip injury that did not heal properly while she was out on the street, or she had severe hip dysplasia. No one knew for certain what had happened to her. She could barely walk. Someone just threw her away, out onto the streets. No one wanted her. She was such a mess when she came to Faithful Friends, then to be fostered by Pat and Mommy. She soon became the queen of the house. She would sit next to my mom's recliner and there was a paper plate on the floor at my mom's feet. Mom would drop little squares of food one bite at a time down onto the plate. That is where Molly ate every day. She helped to tuck my mom into bed every night and gave her a kiss. "Mommy and Molly" are both gone now. It seems appropriate to create a fund to help support the organization which rescued her. Despite her handicaps, she was a joy to my mom and Pat. They all loved each other dearly.

Mom, you will be missed every minute of every day, just as Daddy has been. Sail on eagle's wings to Daddy's waiting arms. You are now together again and can play the ponies and enjoy a lobster dinner, finally, as you both always loved. I Love you, Stephanie xoxox
