My first memory of new born Carl Tullson
My wife of 41 years, Ginny Manz Baird and I were married in August 1982. The previous April I was on spring break from pursuing my masters degree at
UVA. I drove to Ginny‘s childhood home in South Glens Falls, NY to spend time with her. On my way back to Charlottesville I stopped in Rhode Island to visit Karen and Peter and “met” newborn Carl.
I had my guitar with me and sang many songs to baby Carl. I don’t think I made him cry much. But Karen & Peter would better remember his reactions.
