Obituary of Maureen R. Peacock

Maureen R. Peacock age 86 of Lima, PA passed away on October 6, 2023 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born and raised in Dallas, PA by her parents, Eugene and Nellie Jenkins Banta. Maureen resided in Lima for the past 7 years, previously residing in Aston, PA, and Chester, PA for most of her life. Maureen worked as a crossing guard for Aston Township for 27 years before retiring. She enjoyed collecting items, such as stuffed animals and lamps. Maureen also loved holidays and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Maureen is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Peacock, her daughter, Maureen Pearson Tester, and 5 siblings; Eugene (George) Banta, Daniel Banta, Lucille Prendergast, Joan Suda, and Eileen Gillinger. She is survived by 2 sons; Joseph (Michele) Pearson, and Daniel (Frances) Pearson, 6 siblings; Richard Banta, Margaret Bodkin, Madeline Hefton, Dennis Banta, Jack Banta, and Kathy Muscella, 4 grandchildren; Joseph Pearson III, Jason Pearson, Michelle Pearson, and Katie Pearson, and 4 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Seth, Jaylyn, and Jason Jr. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10AM at Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
