Obituary of George W Eccleston

George W. Eccleston, age 87 of Boothwyn, PA passed away on October 11, 2023 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born and raised in Dundalk, MD, George resided for the past 57 years in Boothwyn. George was a process analyst for Boeing for 30 years retiring in 1995. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and a member of the Boothwyn Bass Hawks fishing club. He also enjoyed golfing in his spare time. George served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, Joseph and Lena K. Koester Eccleston, George is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph Eccleston Jr. and Walter Eccleston. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sara E. Jackson Eccleston, 4 children, Steven (Brenda) Eccleston, Richard (Gina) Eccleston, W. Brad (Angel) Eccleston and Cheryl A. Shaw, 6 grandchildren, Nicole Sallada, Chauna Shaw, Kevin Shaw, Richard, Jonathan and Jennifer Eccleston, 5 great grandchildren, Milena, Joseph, Sophia, Caleb and Zavier. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11:00AM. Interment will be held at Mt.
