Obituary of Loretta A. Caulfield

Loretta A. Caulfield, age 81 of Upper Chichester, PA died on October 30, 2023 in her bed at home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in West Philadelphia, Loretta has resided in Upper Chichester for the past 20 years, previously residing in Aston, PA. Loretta considered herself lucky to have been raised by the father that she had. She worked for State Farm Insurance for 15 years prior to retiring in 1999, so that she could care for her grandchildren fulltime, which she said were the best years of her life. Her happiest memories were spending time with family during the Christmas Season. In addition to her father, Norton Himes, Loretta is preceded in death by her loving sister, Elaine Biener and 3 brothers, Frank, Donald, and Tiny Himes. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joe Caulfield, daughter, Kathy Plaugher, son Joey Caulfield, 2 grandchildren, Matt and Mark Plaugher, and the extended Biener Family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2nd, from 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. An additional visitation will be held on Friday, November 3rd from 10-11AM followed by a funeral service at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will remain private. Please, please, please no flowers.
