Obituary of Katherine A. Dougherty

Katherine A. (Bifarella) Kohut Dougherty, age 97, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2016. Bom in Rochester, NY, she moved to Delaware in 1960. Katherine was an expediter for St. Francis Hospital from which she retired. She was predeceased by husbands Charles Kohut and Joseph Dougherty; brothers Peter (Esther) Farell, James (Angela) Bifarella, Joseph Ferro; sisters Ann (Michael) Perrotta, Rosalee Bifarella; parents Thomas and Carmella Bifarella. She is survived by daughter Donna (John) Szczechowski; sisters Cathy Sidare, Patricia Ferro; brother John (Mary) Ferro; grandchildren Amy (Ron) Ladd, Jeffrey Gallagher; greatgrandchildren Brette Ann Ladd and Madalyn Gallagher. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, 10-11AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pk., Claymont, DE followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment private.
