Obituary of Ruth Ann Miller

Ruth Ann Miller, age 104, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born to Alfred and Ella (Heis) Miller in Bronx, NY, Ruth has resided in Chadds Ford for almost 20 years, previously residing in Long Island, NY. She managed the office of Graf Insurance for 30 years before retiring. Until very recently, Ruth was an avid sports fan, reader, great at jigsaw puzzles, and a competitive Scrabble player. Ruth was known to be adventurous, doing a lot of traveling over the years with her favorite location being in nature. She loved to take a walk. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley T. Miller who died in 1974. She is survived by 2 children; Valerie (the late, James) Cloud, and Stanley (Lynne) Miller, 4 grandchildren, Eric (Kathy) Miller, Keith (Mindy) Miller, Kelly (Jeffery) Ensslin, and Jodi Cloud, 3 great- grandchildren; Colin, Ryan, and Maggie. A visitation for Ruth will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10AM-11AM at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342 followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM, lunch to follow.
