Obituary of Erica Nicole Lanning

Erica "Nikki" Lanning, age 25 of Wilmington, DE died suddenly on December 14, 2016 at home. Born in Dover, DE, Nikki was raised in North Carolina before residing in New London Twp., PA & Wilmington, DE. She was a food server at Friendly's Restaurant in Langhorne, PA. Nikki will be greatly missed by her family & friends. Nikki loved to make people laugh and to help people in any way she could. She had a love of animals, she enjoyed horseback riding, visiting the Delaware beaches, watching horror movies, reading, and listening to music. Nikki is preceded in death by an uncle, Gary McLamb. She is survived by her mother & stepfather, Gail & Greg Volpe, father, Keith Lanning, 4 children, Amiya Rivera, Gianna Rivera, Jordan Lanning & Arianna McCullough, siblings, Chris Mattei and James Mattei, a stepsister, Georgia Volpe, her cousin/ "adopted sister", Jessica McLamb, aunts & uncles, Randy (Debra) McLamb, Brenda Crouse, Ricky (Barbara) McLamb, Deborah McLamb, Sandra (Keith) Daigrepont, Kathy (Greg) Phillips & Lorene Lanning, and a host of cousins. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10-12 Noon at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 12 Noon. Interment Private.
