Obituary of Ellen C. Basner

Ellen C. Basner, age 92, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on November 28, 2023 at Ware Presbyterian Nursing Home in Oxford, PA. Born to Norbert & Ellen Trout Yost in Ridley Park, PA, Ellen has resided in Glen Mills for the past 39 years, previously residing in Garnet Valley, PA. Ellen was an Accounting Supervisor retiring from Sunroc Corp. in Glen Riddle, PA. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, caring for her home and her precious dog, Minnie. Ellen was devoted to her home and family and never missed a birthday or special event. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. Basner who died in 2019, a son, Jeffrey Basner who died in 2012 and a sister, Ann Kraus. Ellen is survived by 3 children, Donald (Kathy) Basner, Diane (Gary) Goschler and Sandra (Jonathan) Valle, a brother, Norbert Yost, 8 grandchildren, & 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5th, from 1-2PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd.
