Obituary of Marie A. Morrison

Marie A. Morrison, age 86 of Claymont, DE passed away on January 17, 2024 at AccentCare at Wilmington Hospital. Born in Linwood, PA, Marie resided for the past 60 years in Claymont, DE. A homemaker and mother, Marie, in her younger years, was a member of the Women's Bowling Leagues at Holiday Lanes in Claymont and enjoyed dance roller skating. She was an active in PTA and anything that her children were doing during their school years. Her home was always open to kids in the neighborhood. In addition to her parents, Ollie and Emma Sipe Wholahan, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Morrison who passed in 2006 and 5 siblings, Ella Miller, Dorothy Whittaker, Raymond Wholahan, Emma "Dolly" Vandegrift and John Wholahan. She is survived by two children, Fred E. (Bonnie) Morrison, Jr. and Jean Lee, one grandchild, Jesse (Michelle) Morrison, and also several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, Pa. followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM.
