Obituary of Marion "Carol" Hunter

Marion "Carol" Hunter, age 80, passed away on January 18, 2024 at Sunrise Assisted Living at Granite Run. She was born to her parents Wayne and Ada Jean (nee Davis) Ryan in Pittsburgh, PA. Carol was a longtime resident of Exton, PA before residing in Glen Mills. Working as a florist, Carol enjoyed arranging flowers and gardening. She loved baking and working with children in schools. Carol was also known to be a huge Phillies fan. Devoted to her faith, Carol was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Downingtown and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Exton. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Swab. She is survived by her 2 children, Raymond (Jennifer Hoover) Hunter and Jill (James) Vint, her sister, Grace McAteer, and her 4 grandchildren, Max and Reese Hunter, and Madisen and Lachlan Vint, and a loving extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family intends to hold a "celebration of life" event this April in the greater Philadelphia area and a private burial in Pittsburgh.
