Obituary of Barbara A. Izykowski

Barbara A. Izykowski, age 77, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024 at Paoli Hospital Hospice Care. Barbara was born to Edward and Mary Keenan of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from West Catholic School for Girls in 1964. Barbara was a long-time resident of Havertown, PA. and she worked as an office manager for Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Devoted to her faith, she was most recently a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Barbara was a social butterfly and was very involved with the Foxfield community in Garnet Valley. She loved family gatherings and her beloved dog, Daisy Mae. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Izykowski, who passed in November 2023, and three sisters, Patricia Flynn, Marie Mainardi, and Kathryn Keenan. She is survived by sons, Stephen (Tracie) Izykowski and Joseph (Melissa) Izykowski, and grandchildren, Emilie, John, Katie, Joe, and Cecilia. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, from 9:30-10:30AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM.
