Obituary of Richard D. Fisher, Jr.

Richard D. Fisher, Jr., age 82, of Boothwyn, PA passed away on April 5, 2024 at Westgate Hills Nursing Home. Born to Richard D. Sr. and Mabel Beckman Fisher in Ridley Park, PA, Richard was a long time resident of the Upper Chichester area. He graduated from Ridley Township High School in 1960 and went on to study at Philadelphia Bible College, graduating Class of 1976. Richard was an avid Star Trek fan and enjoyed acting. One of his roles included an appearance in the movie, Trading Places (1983). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles M. Sharpe. Richard is survived by his nieces and nephews, Angela (Nathaniel Wood) Turner, Charlie (Kayla) Sharpe, and Michael Creegan, a half cousin, Pauline Joseph, and many great nieces and nephews.
