I am deeply saddened after hearing the news that Terry has left us. Even though I met Terry in-person only once but we shared lot of good memories. She was always smiling and shared positivity all around. She will always be remembered for her great smile and liveliness. Will miss you always.

I grew up with Terry being one of those special second mothers you get when you are best friends with one of their children. Terry was incredibly creative, always excited, and delightfully goofy. I’d estimate that 80% of our communication was comprised of inside jokes and talking in silly dialects. She was always laughing about something and it was contagious. She was incredibly generous and grounded, and always did what she could to take care of the people around her. All I can think about is her joyful laugh, especially when she’d watch that “Dog of Wisdom” video. Bah. Ha Bah Buh. She was a very bright light in all of our lives.
I love you and miss you, Dip Buddy.

I am so sad to hear of the sudden passing of Terry. Terry is in all my greatest memories on West Riding Drive. The Jacobsen's and Pike's grew up playing at each others houses. One great memory is of all of us building a fort in the Pike back yard. All of us girls, ages 5 to 10, with hammers, nails and boards building our fort for hours of entertainment. Terry was about 10 then. When my father took down the fort many years later he was amazed by the amount of nails in those trees.A great hang out for us was our swim club, Charleston Riding. We loved screaming for each other every Saturday morning and eating bags of dried jello packets. The raft night was always a favorite. Rafts were packed so tight you hardly see water in-between . We had a blast bumping into and turning over rafts. On warm summer nights, we played 'Ghost in The Grave Yard' for hours. We also liked to prank our good humored neighbors, by tying a fishing line to their door knocker and hiding in the dark across the street but none of us were good at being quiet and we could not help giggling away and getting caught. When it snowed, we went sledding behind our house on the gully. We stayed outside until we couldn't feel our feet, and came in for my Mom's famous hot chocolate. Terry also loved to play school in our basement with Leanne and Carol. We had desks and a chalk board which also was hours of fun. We were so lucky to grow up with the Jacobsens with such wonderful memories. Last year Charleston Swim Club had a reunion and we were so thankful to get to see Terry.

My heartfelt condolences for the loss of Teresa Fain.
Terry(Teresa Fain) was my ex boss. I always felt blessed to work under Terry as she was an amazing person and full of life. My heart is very heavy. I really enjoyed our conversations during the period when we worked together. I am grateful that I was a part of your life.Terry had an incredible aura which was infectious. She used to always say to me "Great minds think alike" because most of the times we used to have similar thoughts about any given situations. Terry was more of a mother to me than my boss. You will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Terry's family. May the togetherness of your family ease you through this difficult time.

Terry was an enthusiastic and treasured member of the glass program at the Tuscarora Lapidary Society, first as a student, then as a teacher. She loved working with glass and was great with students. She was a wonderful person, loved by all. We will miss her very much. Our condolences to Richard, Vanca, Erika and the rest of Terry's family.

Please accept my deepest condolences. This is my last letter to Teresa (Terry). To my ride or die friend, co-worker, ex-boss. My heart is very heavy. I really enjoyed our conversations and rides to the airport. We laughed, joked and now I am crying. I am grateful that I was a part of your life. You will be missed. With a smile on my face, we shared great times together. The pens that you made for me were beautiful. Your smile was infectious. Now, that you completed your chapter of life; your spirit will live amongst all your loved ones and friends.
Float to heaven my friend...

My deepest sympathy to all of you.
My family grew up across the street from Terry and her family. Five Jacobsen girls and three Pike girls. We had a blast! What I remember most about Terry was how funny and smart she was. She was older than me and her sister, Carol, but she always made time to hang out with us. I have a ton of memories playing Life and Monopoly with her and Carol in their family room. Memories with all the sisters together (mine and hers) include sledding in the gully, building the fort in our yard, playing ghost in the graveyard, raft night, eating jello out of the box at swim meets, kick the can at the bus stop, and spending endless summer days at the Charleston Swim Club. Growing up with Terry and the Jacobsen girls was hands down the best part of my childhood. I feel lucky that I saw recently Terry at the Charleston Swim Club reunion. We walked up our old street and I was amazed, but not surprised, that she remembered who had lived in every single house. And of course, she made me laugh because that is just Terry. I will miss her very much.

I am so sorry for all of you. This is heartbreaking news. The Jacobsen family was a big part of our childhood. I have so many memories of all of you. I can remember playing with Terry in our basement and sledding on the Mahaney's hill. I remember fun times in your backyard playing Ghost in the Graveyard. I remember one time, Terry and I were jumping off a construction site of a house being built behind your house. We were probably under 10 years old. Some one called the police and we ran. First, we hid in your shed and then we just ran from the police. Eventually, we turned ourselves in. It's hard to believe that was Terry and I who did that......doesn't seem like us.
I am so sorry for your loss. It is incomprehensible to me that she is really gone.
My deepest condolences to you all.
