Obituary of John M. Bilaski
John M. Bilaski, age 81, of Aston, PA, passed away on May 28, 2024, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born to John and Dorothy (Wayland) Bilaski in Darby, PA. John resided in Aston for 31 years, having previously lived in Brookhaven.
In his youth, John worked as a welder at the Navy Yard and Sun Ship. He later worked as a sheet metal assembler at Boeing for over 35 years, retiring in 2013 to focus on his wife and family. Throughout his life, he was an avid outdoorsman like his father before him. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, karate, boxing, and most of all caring for and driving his pickup trucks. He dedicated much of his time to the Delaware County Field and Stream Association, where he served as a range officer and to perfect his skills as a marksman. John was a lifetime member of the NRA and the National Hot Rod Association. In his later years, he truly enjoyed spending time with his wife and family—mentoring and playing with his grandchildren became a favorite pastime.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his two sisters, Dorothy Laloup and Carol Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie (Nemchik) Bilaski; his son, John Bilaski; his daughter, Jennifer Lehr (Michael Lehr Sr); and his grandchildren, Lexi, Michael, Mikayla, Ryan, and Mason.
