Obituary of Bernadette J. Connors
Bernadette J. Connors, age 63, of Aston, PA passed away suddenly on May 28, 2024 at her home. Born in Chester, PA, Bernadette resided in Ft. Myers, FL before moving back to PA. She has resided for the past 25 years in Aston and was looking forward to her upcoming move to Chester County. Bernadette graduated from Notre Dame Moylan in 1979 before getting her Associates Degree in IT. She was employed for many years as an IT Director at Allan Collautt Associates, Inc. Devoted to her Catholic faith, she was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Aston. In her earlier years, Bernadette attended Antonelli's Photography School in Philadelphia. She also enjoyed a career in photography that took her from movie sets to Cessnas Airplanes shooting photos all over south Florida. She was known as the favorite Aunt, could tell a great story, loved vacationing, taking her scooter out for a ride and truly enjoyed life. Bernadette was preceded in death by her father, William Connors, mother, Irene Connors Bonnett (nee Fratterola), sister, Jean T. Connors and a nephew, David Tidball. She leaves behind her brother, Francis, sister in law, Dolores, nieces, Lisa (Michael) and Valerie (Ryan), a great niece and nephews, Nicholas, Helena, Brooks and Franco, who affectionately knew her as Zia, and her beloved pup, Gingy. In addition, she is survived by siblings, William R. Connors (Diane) and Mary L. Tidball (Peter). Nieces and a nephew, Stephanie, Lauren and Adam, whom she loved dearly. She was greatly loved by so many and will be deeply missed. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, from 9:15-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernadette's memory may be made to Providence Animal Center in Media, PA. (providenceac.org).
