I tried this once before. And I don't see it on the list. So I will send it again. I remember playing on the farm. I remember our swims at Mount gretna. And your dad was very energetic and had interesting dive moves. And I remember trips to the mountains especially the time he jumped up in the big picture window pretending to be a bear and scared us all. I have a lot of fun memories of your parents and you girls growing up. I'm very sorry for your loss. Comforting to know that we will see you again in heaven. Praying for you and your families.

Mr Schnupp has been our neighbor for 9 years.
He made the most beautiful impression on our family.
My 2 little girls noticed that every morning at the same time, he was sitting outside on his patio regardless of the the temperature.
One day they were whispering to each other very excitedly, as if they figured out an amazing secret, saying “That man is praying! That’s why he comes out there everyday!”
Then we started walking early in the morning when the weather got nicer and there we would pass by Mr Schnupp with his big smile and his “I love Jesus” hat.
My girls were so happy to know that our neighbor loved Jesus and was letting everybody know.
One winter it was very cold and we saw him sitting outside of his home and my girls said “Let’s play Secret Santa on Mr Schnupp.”
They took outdoor chair cushions from our backyard and tied them onto the chair they saw him sitting on everyday because they saw the chairs were made out of metal, so they would be colder then if they were made of plastic or wood. They beloved that of his wife was alive she would not want him to be so cold.
He had a word of encouragement for us as parents and homeschoolers and enjoyed sharing stories about his wife homeschooling as his children were growing up.
We will miss Mr Leon Schnupp for sure. I wish we could have had more time talking to such a special man.
So sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend.

I’m surely going to miss making you lentil stew and your calls telling me how many pushups you did (well in your 80’s) for the day. I’ll miss your stories so much…. When the Lord would call to you, “Leon”….
You are a treasure and now you enter into His courts with praise and thanksgiving, your faith has been made sight. Xo

I so loved our visits through the years. I enjoyed your wisdom, charisma and childlike heart. We had LOTS OF FUN and cherished memories. I will never forget you, as you deposited words deep in my heart that echo still today. Words of wisdom, encouragement, and truth. There will be a true missing with you gone, however, I press on, looking forward to being with you again in the house of the Lord. There are many mansions and I trust that you are worshipping with all your heart in yours, wearing your crowns. Thank You for your life well lived. Well done. Until we meet again in glory, I will continue to bring heaven to earth wherever God leads me. Samantha Ditzel. (Photo taken 1-5-23)

Your dad loved the dog park and would pet every dog that walked by. They all loved him.
