I live near the Houtmann family. Ed and I were Partners in crime. We played kick ball, baseball, exploring the country side.We went fishing together, sledding on Rose Hill property. I have a lot of fond memories of Eddie growing up. No words can describe how sorry I am for your family loss. Please Accept my Deepest Sympathy!

I basically knew Ed my whole life, lived just a few doors away from the Houtmann family. Ed was my best man at my wedding 44 years ago. Together we experienced life’s ups and downs. We learned to keep moving forward, he said it’s hard to hit a moving target! When I look back at the past I’m glad to have had him as a friend. Until we meet again brother rest easy!!!

I went through elementary school with Eddie. Our 8th grade graduating class at St. Francis was filled with wonderful friends like Ed. I am saddened to learn of his passing. It was way too soon. My condolences to the family.
