We are saddened by the unexpected loss of “Joe.” Not only is his family extremely saddened but the entire firefighting community of which “Joe” dedicated much of his life is also. “Joe” always considered others in how he could provide assistance. His career with the Delaware County Court House and Park Police is another example of public service and his caring attitude. “Joe” thru his Facebook posts always reminded us of those Police, Firefighter, and EMS who made the ultimate sacrifice. As President of Ogden Fire Company, Joe was our go to guy when we needed someone to help with a project or sudden need. His commitment to the Board of Directors demonstrated his value to our organization and when he would echo “I was just saying”, others would listen. “Joe” had his daily routine of morning visits to the Marcus Hook waterfront and a stop at Ogden’s Station to check on things and get the mail. We will not be able to fill this void of his presence in our lives or the missing place in our hearts. “Joe” on behalf of the members of Ogden Fire Company No. 1 you will always be in our prayers and thank you for the great memories. “Joe” you can “Rest in Peace” knowing you will be known for the many accomplishments in life.
