Obituary of Ana Maria Gonzalez

Ana Maria Gonzalez, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2025 at her home. Born in Bicol, Phillipines, Ana Maria came to the United States in 1985 where she settled in Claymont, DE. Ana Maria has resided in Bear, DE for over 30 years. She was employed by the Dupont Company for many years as an International Customer Service Representative. Ana Maria was well rounded and spoke many languages, including Japanese. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Ana Maria had a love of dancing and enjoyed ballroom dancing. She was quite talented and once won the Pro-am Ballroom Competition. She also had a love of music, Irish and Celtic music as well as many artists. In her free time, Ana Maria enjoyed her plants and gardening, and also cooking, sewing, crocheting and knitting. In addition to her parents, Juan Gonzalez and Nenita Suarez Llanos, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jaime F. Migual who died in 1996. Ana Maria is survived by her 3 children, Jaime G. Miguel, Ana Hart and Maria Teresa G. Miguel, a sister, Maridel Beckman and a brother, Anton Gonzalez, 2 grandchildren ,Duncan and Brendan Hart as well as her 2 furry cats, Snooki and Jasper. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11AM. Burial will remain private.
