Obituary of John R. Hamalak

John "Bob" R. Hamalak, age 72 of Trainer, PA died on March 15, 2017 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born, raised and educated in Chester, PA, he has resided for the past 30 years in Trainer. Bob graduated from Chester High School class of 1962. After high school he served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Bob was a security guard for Kimberly Clark for 22 years retiring in 2007. He enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Michalina Zaremba Hamalak and a sister, Patricia Coleman. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Florence M. Phillips Hamalak, daughter, Melissa Ozor and her husband Matthew, 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Alexander Ozor. A visitation will be held on Tuesday 7-9PM and Wednesday 9-10AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 10:00AM.
