Obituary of Evelyn J. Costa

Evelyn J. Costa, age 84 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on March 21, 2017 at her home. Born to Stanley & Helena Pelczar in N. Dartmouth, MA, Evelyn has resided at Maris Grove since 2006, previously residing in Murrieta, CA & Greenbelt, MD. A teacher for many years, Evelyn was devoted to her faith and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. One of her favorite hobbies was keeping historical diaries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Costa Leonard and a brother, Edward Pelczar. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Costa, 2 children, Laurene Angelaras & Kenneth Costa, 5 grandchildren, Lisa Fletcher, Jamie & Julie Angelaras, Kelsey & Joseph R. Costa, 3 great grandchildren, Cassandra, Corey & Nicholas and an aunt, Stefanie Pilat. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9:15-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 4200 Harewood Road, Washington, DC 20017.
