Obituary of Leona Palmer

Leona (Thawley) Palmer, age 80, of Aston, PA passed away on April 7, 2017. Raised in Boothwyn, PA, Leona was a resident of Aston, PA for over 50 years. She was a 1955 graduate from Chichester High School where she also was a member of the high school band. A homemaker raising her family, Leona is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hetty Heavlow Thawley, her husband who died in 2013, Willard "Bill" Palmer, an infant child, Sharon and an uncle, Joseph Porter . She is survived by 2 children, Tracey (Connie) Cowan, and Troy (Linda) Palmer as well as an aunt, Leona Porter. A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
