Obituary of Michael Robert Stanton

Michael Robert Stanton, age 57, of Wilmington, DE passed away on April 19, 2017. Born and raised in Chester, PA, Michael has resided in Wilmington for the past 15 years previously residing in Claymont, DE. Michael served in the Navy and later was a longtime employee for Kimberly-Clark formerly Scott Paper. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan as well as an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his mother, Mary Lorriane Lopchinsky Stanton, he is preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Stanton. Michael is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan M. Feeley Stanton, children, Dana Heide (Christopher), Nancy Stanton and Samantha Borda (Philip Jr), father, Donald A. Stanton, siblings, Julia Irene Stanton, Anthony Stanton, Leona Banks and Mary Grayson and 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Christian, Maggie & Gemma. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday evening, 7PM where friends may call from 6:00-7:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA.
