Obituary of Catherine DeRue

Catherine A. DeRue, age 82, passed away on April 23, 2017 at Parkview Nursing Home in Wilmington, DE. A resident of Wilmington and Bear, DE since 1995, she previously resided in Rochester, NY, Lawnside, NJ and Lansdowne, PA. In addition to her parents, Thomas and Anna Macklin Mathews, Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R. DeRue, 3 sisters, Claire Mathews, Regina Kenney and Mary DeVitis. She is survived by her son, Chuck Barksdale and wife Donna.,three grandchildren, Bill (Liz), Katie and Jessica Barksdale, a great grandson, Alex Barksdale, and sisters-in-law Linda (Jason) Haak and Lorraine (Jim) Bowens. Memorial Services and Interment will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10am at the Creation Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534.
