Obituary of Elizabeth A. Shahadi

Elizabeth A. Shahadi, age 92, of Wilmington, DE passed away on June 1, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born to the late Francis & Veronica Patcanis Marciniak in Windber, PA, she resided the past fifteen years in Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Bethel Twp and Chester, PA. She owned & operated with her husband, "Shahadi's Auto Tag" in Chester, PA. Elizabeth was devoted to her faith and a parishioner of St. Hedwig's and the Church of the Holy Child. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Assad Shahadi. She is survived by her children, George Shahadi III, Joseph Shahadi, Anthony Shahadi, Andrew Shahadi, and Denise Stevenson, 15 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, 7-9PM and again Thursday from 9:30-10:00AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00AM at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, 2623 W 4th St, Chester, PA. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
