Very sad to hear the passing of Matt. Matt was one of the "sophomores" in 1982 to us Flanner 3A freshman, and I always remember his smile (occasionally with a sly mischievous look) and his warm personality. He was always very welcoming to us and was just an all-around good guy. He will always be part of the Flanner 3A Sophomores that us Freshman still affectionately refer to them as.

Dear Megan,
We have only known Matt for a few years but he has become a significant part of our family, both financially and as a dear friend.Phil played golf with him many times and considered him a true friend and trusted advisor.

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Matt's death. I am one of his clients
and biggest fans. After my husband died Matt was so kind and caring
and supportive! He was always professional, but he exuded a genuine
warmth which obviously came straight from the heart.
I am Judy Johnston's sister, and I don't think we have ever met, but
I am sending my very deepest sympathy to you and your children.

LIke Matt, I was born in 1963 and graduated Haverford School with Matt in 1981. We were on the swim team together. Matt went to Notre Dame and I went to Trinity College in Hartford,CT. Matt and I would call each other weekly during freshman year of college. I guess it was our adjustment period. I considered Matt a good friend and upstanding citizen. It has now been 36 years. I am saddened that I did not stay in better touch with Matt and further saddened by our collective loss. Matt was a great man. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dear Megan and kids: you don't know me but your Aunt Pat and Uncle Jack moved in next door to me on Friendship Road a long time ago....our kids had fun playing together and Michelle was a couple of months older than my son, Chip. I am writing to tell you all how sorry I am to hear this sad news. Hopefully now, Matt is free of his pain even as you all mourn his death and loss to your family. I know from talking to Pat how he was such a strong man and you should be rightfully proud of him. Carry on the things that you all know he would want from you. I always want to believe that the ones we love stay with us and I get comfort from that....Please know you are in my prayers. Stay strong.

Matt was my friend, my financial advisor, someone who I could always count on for direction about life in general, and most importantly a jokester who told great stories and someone I could count on for pranking me annually at the Army / Navy game.
