Obituary of Marilyn M Newton

Marilyn Mae Newton of Thornton, PA. passed away peacefully on June 2, 2017 with her family by her side at Taylor Hospice House in Ridley Park. She was born on December 26, 1932 in Lansing, MI. and was a resident of Thornton, PA. since 1973. Marilyn was the head Librarian for Astra Zeneca pharmaceuticals and retired in 1992. Marilyn enjoyed wintering in her Ormond Beach home and cherished her time spent with family. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Myrtle Eavey and brothers Russell and Richard (Bud) all of Lansing, MI. Marilyn is survived by her husband and best friend of 63 years John Robert Newton; daughter, Deborah Jean McKenzie and her husband Scott McKenzie of Bear, DE.; son, Robert Roy Newton and his wife Erin Marie Newton of W.Simsbury, CT.; granddaughters, Debbie Kowalik, Eavey Newton, Adrienne Newton , & Bethany Newton; great grandchildren, Tyler Colangelo and Brianna Thomas; beloved sister, Margaret Ludwig; dearest sister in law Peggy Arnold. A memorial and interment will be held privately.
