Obituary of Patricia A. Nelson

Patricia A. Nelson, 78 of Thorndale, PA died on June 11, 2017 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born in Darby, PA, she resided for the past 14 years in Thorndale, previously residing in Ephrata and New Holland, PA. A retired elementary school teacher, Patricia worked for the Ephrata School District for over 20 years and also worked with the Substitue Teachers Services. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of Pequea Presbyterian Church where she was active. She enjoyed visiting the shut in's at the local nursing home, gardening, caring for her home and flying with her husband who is a pilot. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Mabel Vanatta Dagle and former husband, Earl Heinaman. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, William R. Nelson, 4 children, Cheryl Hinkle, Cindy (Pat) Wills, James (Rita) Ranck and Terry (Kim) Ranck, 5 step children, Eric Nelson, Kimberly Anderson, Kirsten (Paul) Fedeli, Robert Heinaman and David (Joyce) Heinaman, 2 brothers, Dick and Daniel Dagle also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at the Pequea Presbyterian Church, Gap, PA day and time will be announced at a later time. Interment will be at the Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
