Obituary of Loretta A. Gardner

Loretta "Bunny" Gardner 77 of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born March 11, 1940 in South Philadelphia to the late Angelo and Mary Marone. She graduated from St. Monica's Commercial High School in 1958. Loretta enjoyed the beach, shopping, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren. She had a career in banking for a number of years ending in 2002 when she retired from MBNA America. Loretta is survived by sons Roger Burgess and John (Amy) Gardner, grandchildren Victoria, Ryan, Lucas Burgess, Retura & Tanner Claar, Hayden Gardner and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Gardner and her daughter Loretta Burgess. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 20th from 2-3 pm followed by Funeral Services at 3 pm at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA.
