Although my heart is heavy with sadness for the family's loss I can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude to God for allowing me to know Amy for a season as a sister in Christ. Her outgoing and caring demeanor was a gift to all those with whom she interacted. I can only imagine the joy she now radiates as she lives in the presence of her glorious Savior!

Amy always had a warm hug and a bright smile and a contagious laugh for me in the halls of Phillips Seminary in Tulsa while she was there. We spent many snippets of time commiserating over our lives when I was in between classes and she had a free moment. I will ever be grateful to have known her - her life light kept mine lit.

I met Amy years ago where she was an activities coordinator at MeadwWood Hospital. I saw her gifts then while she worked with adolescents there - giving of herself so generously to help troubled youth. It was a gift to run into her again at Wilmington University. I first met her again when she came in to visit her "second mom" Anne Movain, which also happened to be Lori's mom. Amy you are one of the good one's and you will always live in my heart. That is just who you are - a person who shared openly with honestly and with love with everyone - from the day I met you over 30 years ago to when you joined the WilmU family - I will miss you.

Amy was such a presence, and remains to leave an imprint on my life. I had the pleasure of having Amy as a student, and she brought a life, and energy to each day that could only be overshadowed by her contagious smile. Ronnie, Charlie, Emma, Ed, Lori and family
Your Amy Beth was part of my family! From day one, back in 1985, it seemed that the good Lord matched Amy Beth and I together! We just knew each other right off! Any time I needed a kick in the pants, Amy Beth was there...and that never changed down to the last time we spoke! She came to all my family functions and became part of the family quickly. We had few secrets because we knew we could trust each other and we knew we wouldn't judge each other! I knew so much about each of you because Amy Beth told me on many occasions how much you each meant to her!! You were her life! Her world!! Ronnie, the love of her life! The man she created her life with/for! She was very happy since she came back home! Charlie, her Rock...she was so proud of you! She loved you more than life! Emma, her firecracker...she loved you so much sweetie! She knew you are strong...she wanted so much for you to love yourself and be happy! Ed...her super dad...her best friend and her biggest fan!! She loved you so very much!! Jimmy, Heidi, Sarah...she was proud to be one of your siblings!! She learned from each of you how to be who she was!! Lori...her BFF! Such unconditional love...you were such a huge part of her life!! I wish I could tell you how to move on without her! I wish I could bring her back! But what I think she would want me to say is...Love with your whole heart..every day!! Smile when you think of her...remember the good times!! And never be afraid or ashamed to be you, be true to yourself, and live every moment of every day to the fullest!! Soak it all in...I pray for you all daily! Always have and always will! I'm here for you all to talk, cry, scream, cuss, or whatever...my family will miss Amy Beth!! I will miss my Amy Beth!! I already do!! I Love you all!! Ronda Chambers Osborn

I met Amy in college on the 22nd floor, Tower C, at Pitt. We were instant friends. Amy taught me how to drive stick shift and we spent many weekends together both at my family home in Pittsburgh and her family home in Boothwyn. We kept in touch from time to time and recently started chatting again. Amy is one of the best humans I know. I'm so so sorry she is no longer with us. My heart breaks for her family and for the world.

She will always be missed! But someday our paths will meet again. All I can say and it sounds stupid but I love technology for this reason. We stayed in touch, otherwise we may have lost touch. Not because we didn't want to stay in touch.. but we all know how it is... working, raising children, etc. They say you should make the time! Which makes us feel inadequate because we are just trying to make it one day and a time, which if your lucky is easy:)
Most of the time the clock is ticking and it is hard to fit it all in. Larry was trying to remember the last time we spent time with you all especially Amy. It was at Jim's ... As i sit here in pop's old stinky chair going through pictures, all is I can think is she is up there with all those before her and she is not hurting we people who knew Amy are..... especially her children, hubby and siblings... our hear aches for her daddy as well. Love you Ed... thanks for bringing into this world a lovely and generous daughter, friend, mother, cousin, sibling etc etc person into this world... both you and your beautiful wife did a wonderful job. Mary loved you all as family and Pop Pop Bob was a grandfather, dad and father in law to our family that is for sure. So thinking of you and yours today and always.....

My heart breaks for all who knew this wonderful lady! I only knew her for a short time. She had this way of lighting up a room when she came in, had a way of making each person feel as if they were so important to her. She was so very kind and loving, lifted others even when she was sad. She could be serious and crazy funny. She lived in the moment. I know I will be sad for a while, as I know she would want us all to smile again. You forever changed my world, when I see you again, I want one of those hugs Aimes! I knew her from Clary Sage, we were in Massage class together. You touched many lives my friend! Love you always!
